Strengthening the Bond Between Horse and Rider
Where second chances turn into lifelong partnerships—one horse and one rider at a time.

Founder & Lead Trainer at Ambrosia Ranch
Meet Preslie Reeves
Hi, I’m Preslie – a horse trainer, lifelong learner, and the heart behind Ambrosia Ranch. My journey didn’t begin in a show barn or with years of lessons. It began on April 27, 2018, the day my first horse, Silverado, arrived. I had begged for a horse since I was three years old, and that day my dream finally came true. Starting at 13 with no formal training and no experience, I had to learn everything from the ground up. While many doubted I’d make it far, I found joy in the simple things—bareback rides in the backyard, learning from my mistakes, and growing with every step. I later added a little mini donkey named Eeyore and raised a bottle calf named Christmas. Each animal taught me something different about patience, connection, and the beauty of slow progress. But the biggest turning point came when I was 16—and met Rain.

The Heart of Ambrosia Ranch

A Transformative Partnership
Rain was a three-year-old paint who had never been handled, was severely underweight, and had been written off by everyone who saw her. When I looked at her, I didn’t see problems—I saw potential.
She had never even worn a halter, but four days after arriving at the ranch, she was halter broken. In the months that followed, she became my most trusted lesson horse. She’s gentle, reliable, and has helped so many new riders find their footing.
Rain’s transformation is what inspired Ambrosia Ranch.
Here, we believe in second chances—for horses, for riders, for anyone who’s ready to start again. Whether you’re a new owner, a struggling rider, or a horse in need of trust and guidance, Ambrosia Ranch is a place where you’re seen, supported, and given room to grow.
With love, patience, and a few treats, anything is possible.
